Wendy, yes! If it works for us, and hurts no one else, it is good! Yesterday, in the time I devoted to working on draft two of my Rom Com, I was in the zone. It was beyond exciting to develop the dialog and then read it back aloud and hear the effortless back and forth between the characters. It was 103 degrees outside yesterday, so no garden work....was it hard when I saw weeds, YES!!!!!! But, they will be there today and since it's supposed to be 10 degrees cooler, watch out weeds, because I'm coming for you. Oh...the mulch needs refreshing too. Joining you on the other side of seesaw.
Another great analogy. Love the pics. Chain saw??? In this heat?? Go mama. Was Tock upset too about not getting a walk in this heat? Glad it broke today!
Heat isn't too bad in northern Michigan, where we've been at the family place for the last month. Tock seems to love trail building even more than walks because there are way more sticks happening for him!
I think you've passed that balance onto me as well
Yep, you have it in spades! Runs in the family, I guess.
"Border Collieisms" -- that is so descriptive and perfect.
haha, I wonder what a Bernerism would be?

How exciting about the progress on your Rom Com! All that work you're doing is totally worth it.
I love everything about this! I wonder if our dogs reflect who we are? It's a question often asked, isn't it. The pictures are fabulous.
It's interesting how similar people are to their dogs, isn't it? Though I would think of you as more like Ozzie than Echo!

Love this, Wendy! So true! And what a great term "border collie-ism" is!
